Displays The Processes

ps
command will report a snapshot of the current processes. To select all processes use the -A or -e option:
[root@reuters ~]# ps -L
PID LWP TTY TIME CMD
2212 2212 pts/1 00:00:00 bash
7585 7585 pts/1 00:00:00 mysql
16063 16063 pts/1 00:00:00 ps
